GOLDEN ISLES
On the southern coast of Georgia is a seaside enclave where the laid back pace and rhythm of the tides soothes your soul. More than a beach destination, the the Golden Isles has a deeper story, offering the richness of an authentic experience. It's a place to connect with loved ones and embrace what matters most.
There was an opportunity to uniquely showcase and define the diversity of adventures and fulfilling experiences that embody the spirit of the Golden Isles. I directed an effort to build a powerful foundation of stunning videography and photography that captured the endless variety of ways of being immersed in the natural beauty of the Golden Isles.
Focusing on the emotional sentiments, the campaign depicts connection in and to the Golden Isles. Thought-provoking phrases were coupled with a dramatic image of the Golden Isles, the message also working as a call-to-action—the reason why the reader should scan QR code. Scanning the code led to a landing page where the still image came to life in video.
The campaign lead to a banner year, shattering several records, like highest hotel revenue in history and highest single-year tourism-driven economic impact.
AT THE EDGE OF THE OCEAN
In August of 2023, the Golden Isles won one of Travel + Leisure's "World's Best Awards" for #1 Best U.S. Islands. In search of an original song that captured the vibe and lyrically mirrored the uniqueness of the Golden Isles, Edge of the Ocean by Stick Figure became the perfect match. I produced :15 and :30 sequences using the song for a set of announcement videos. A huge hit with client and approved, we proceeded in licensing the rights to the song for the Golden Isles' future marketing efforts. "At the edge of the ocean holds a place, we can start over again."
